Reminder: Important updates for our website subscribers

We want to let you know about some exciting updates to our HPRA website and how it will affect the website alerts you have signed up to receive.

Tomorrow, 28 January 2025, we will launch our new website. As well as an updated look and feel, there will be significant improvements to the content structure and site functionality including upgrades to our My Alerts subscription service.

These updates are intended to improve the overall user experience and how we share information with you. The My Alerts service will now allow you to customise your website notifications in a more refined way. This will help ensure we send only relevant information direct to your mailbox.

Important: Your existing account will be deactivated

Your existing account will no longer be active once our new website goes live tomorrow, 28 January. To make sure that you continue to receive HPRA email alerts from tomorrow please sign up to our new My Alerts service. We will send you an email with the steps for signing up once our new website is live. 

Please keep an eye out for emails coming from us later this week sharing the instructions for signing up. You can also log on to our website from tomorrow and look out for the Sign Up box at the bottom of every page to sign up there.

Please bear with us if you experience a slight delay accessing our new site as we complete the transition phase.

We are ending our SMS text alerting service 

If you previously received SMS alerts from our website, please be aware that this facility will no longer be available after 28 January. A lot has changed in the time since we first introduced this service and with the advent of smartphones we removed this option for new website subscribers a number of years ago. With our enhanced email service you will be able to receive targeted and customised communications from the HPRA direct to your inbox.

Please note too that if you have bookmarked any links to our old site, these may no longer be active on our new site.
