Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
In HPRA, we are committed to ensuring all employees feel a sense of community, connection and inclusivity in their area of work, and across the organisation. Belonging is one of the four pillars in HPRA's People Strategy and it aims to encourage diverse perspectives and create an environment where every individual feels welcome, respected, valued and safe.
In support of this, our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Committee works to strengthen diversity, equality and inclusion in the HPRA. By aligning with the organisation's core values and the People Strategy, the D&I Committee runs initiatives, shares information and hosts educational awareness campaigns throughout the year.
As an organisation, our intent is to continuously enhance the sense of belonging, on purpose. We look to make the unconscious, conscious, and recognise that it takes effort to maintain our friendly and inclusive culture. In HPRA, everyone contributes and plays their part in making our organisation an enjoyable and fun place to work.
Gender Pay Gap
The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 has introduced the legislative basis for gender pay gap reporting. The regulations require organisations with over 250 employees to annually report on their gender pay gap from 2022 onwards.
We are pleased to publish our most recent gender pay gap report, which will help to strengthen our diversity, equality and inclusion journey.
Being transparent about any gender pay gap is core to our values and supports the work our Diversity and Inclusion committee is undertaking. The calculation of our overall gender pay gap for 2023 shows a point in time snapshot of the organisation and is influenced by the demographics of our organisation.
