Privacy notice for MyAlerts
What information do we process?
We only collect information you choose to share with us via our online MyAlerts sign up form. This includes personal details such as name, email address, phone number, etc.
You can request to remove your details at any time by sending us a message via our online contact us form. Please select ‘Other > MyAlerts query’ in the dropdown menu when prompted and we will process your request.
Website usage and other technical information may also be collected through your interactions with our website. Our cookie policy provides more information on this.
Legal basis for processing
The legal basis for processing CESP registration personal data in CESP is Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which states:
The data subject has given consent to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes.
How is your information processed and shared?
The HPRA uses third party service providers and suppliers (also known as data processors) to carry out both our regulatory functions and other related matters. These third parties process personal data on behalf of the HPRA and appropriate arrangements are in place with them to protect personal data.
Your personal data will be transferred to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), specifically to the USA. Safeguards have been put in place to ensure your data is protected to an equivalent level as it would be in the EEA. In this case, standard contractual clauses have been put in place.
